VERY chill detective story
I love the cover. It perfectly represents this novel: Chill, no thrill.
Following detective Midori was very refreshing. Like most detectives, she compulsively needs to solve all the mysteries that appear in her life, but to quench her thirst she ends up hurting everyone by revealing an often ugly truth.
However, as much as the characters and the setting were interesting, everything the whole thing felt shallow and a bit preachy. So I ended up feeling like reading a children's book, which is a
