As a note I listened to the audiobook, I did not read the text.
You'll want to have read the first book in this series to really enjoy this one I think (since it directly references and builds off of it), but having not read yet the middle two I guess those are optional? I'll probably go back and read/listen to them at some point as well.
Not much to add that I didn't say in my first review - this is cheesy horror that doesn't stretch a lot in vocab or in grammar.
