Very intense volume all the way through. I reaaaaally do not get Kikyou's logic in handing over the 四魂の玉 to Naraku - it's very full of holes. The encounter between Kikyou & Kagome, then Inuyasha plays out quite differently than the anime, as does Inuyasha and Kagome's exchange afterwards (as usual I prefer the manga version). The volume also Introduces one of my favorite characters, Toutousai. We also get some great background on Inuyasha, Tessaiga, and more
