Interesting book, but long second part

The writer's description of architectural and technological items is very good. The story is fun but the second part of the book was too long for me. It felt like two books. I read assisted by the audiobook for most of the book. The first part of the book is mostly a closed-room murder mystery while the second part is a "society" created mystery.

Definitely recommended for anyone into home security.
