Excellent intro to asexuality & aromanticism. Story is ok
Story about a college freshman discovering and coming to terms with the fact that they asexual & aromantic. I'm the process, she finds some similar (and different colleagues), and a place to belong. While the MC is both ace & around, other types and nuances of the ace-aro spectrums are portrayed or elaborated on as well. Depending how familiar you are with the topic, there might not be a ton to gain, but even as someone who's known about their own ace identity for years, still I found it enjoyable, and picked up some good vocab.
My only critique would be that sometimes the story isn't the most riveting, or necessarily gives way to explaining the topic (especially earlier on). I actually had put it down back in 2024 (my vocab was much weaker then), and only picked it up again in 2026. I'm glad I finally did though, as it's really nice to see any aro-ace representation in manga.
Anyway I think it's worth a read, particularly if you're not that familiar with - or don't have first hand experience of - asexuality/aromanticism.
