The first volume of this series is a collection of several cases. All kinda boring and because of the way this is set up, you - as the reader - cannot actually figure out anything for yourself. You have to wait for the - somewhat convenient - explanations of the detective. The latter half was a bit more interesting than the first (we have a murder!) but overall it rather dragged.
