(4/5)A political manifesto in form of a childrens fable. I think that sounds absolutely amazing, and i enjoyed reading this a ton. It is by far (by far) the easiest book i've reviewed, so if you're looking for that, take a look. Literally written in a way every child could understand. About a bunch of frogs that try to find paradise. The frogs have fun names like Socrates, Xerxes, Mike and Steamboat.
Again it's extremely political though, so depending on your leanings this may not suit your palate.
This was the first book I read in Japanese. It was perfect for that as it's very easy to read. There aren't many difficult words and the sentences are mostly simple.
The story itself was okay. It was a bit boring at times, but that could also have been my slow reading speed.
As for the political message the book wants to convey, I see where the author is coming from, but in my opinion the book is way too simple to really represent the real world in any meaningful way. The author dep
