Good for getting exposed to yakuza speech
The human mc is an ex-yakuza that still has ties with his yakuza friends, so there's a ton of slang and tough language. Since there's so much, I found it useful for getting me accustomed to that kind of language. The faces that the cat makes are hilarious. However I found the chapters repetitive, the characters were the same until a slight realization in the final chapter, and even then I couldn't tell if it was enough development to bother continuing with volume 2.

Artwork is cute! Yakuza speech is sometimes tough...
Enjoyed it, albeit sometimes a little repetitive. Still cute and easy to pickup and put down as the chapters are short. The drawn cat faces are super adorable and ultra cute. Overall fun read. Though honestly a lot of the yakuza speech turned out to be much more challenging than expecting. Sometimes there were language choices with fun double meanings. Without mokuro and yomitan this would have been a lot more work and if I was reading my physical copies would probably been a little more p
