A short story by Kyusaku Yumeno, a writer of the early Showa period known for his highly fantastical style. It was first published in Nihon Shosetsu Bunko (Japan Novel Collection), "Joking and Killing" [Shunyodo, 1933]. This work consists of two chapters, "I" and "II," the latter part of which was published in "Shin Seinen" [1931] under the title "Jikaku Shinri" (Confession Psychology).
