Excellent children's book for beginners

Nothing fancy in this story, it's your standard cute children's book. Great start for native content with pretty standard grammar. I think it's probably equivalent to something like 'Curious George', so above super basic 'See Spot Run' sorts of stories, but still not a chapter book.

Be warned though that while this isn't super complicated native content, it is truly native content, not graded reader content which you might be used to. That means you'll run into words like '새둥지' (bird's nest).

This story is about Moomin, who feels a little sad that he doesn't have something special of his own. He goes exploring, hoping to find something that can become his treasure, but everything he sees reminds him of one of his family or friends...!

Also included: a brief biography of the author; the history of the Moomins books, comics, etc; and character profiles. These were just as enjoyable as the story itself, and I like that there was some non-fiction reading in there, too. Although I was sh
