...the subject matter of this one is a bit hard for me to grasp, because this book speaks about disability and attempts to spin it into "disability isn't the end of the world, haha!", but reading through this, I feel like I personally would hate to be in the shoes of the main character, even when she's trying her best to make things work.
I think this story has a lot of interesting linguistic bits and I'm glad I read it, but I found it to be hard to relate to and a bit sad in places where it wasn't supposed to be sad, so melancholy is a strong word with this one.
