After being let down a bit by the prior novel which had some good ideas but awkward pacing, Planet Robobot delivers probably the most exciting Kirby novel yet. This is the first of the novels directly based on one of the games (and I haven't played the Robobot game yet to compare) so I was kind of worried there'd be stuff that only made sense if I'd played the game or that a game plot wouldn't work well translated into a novel, but this is really solid with a surprisingly compelling adventure an

Why can't I grade this item?
The story moved along very fast and this book was a little more action packed than the previous ones. However, I kind of wish the fights took a little longer and had a little more suspense to them.
It is a kids book after all, so my expectations are perhaps a little too high. Overall though, this is a great book for N4-N3 level readers. There are A LOT of words I didn't know, but the sentences are simple enough that the story is still comprehensible.
