Very touching story, had to hold back my tears
So the first thing I'll say is that I found out that this is not my kind of story.
It has nice vocab, very good for a beginner (@5k-6k words). N3-N2 I would say. I needed around 20h to finish this book.
The story itself is (imo) very touching and I had to hold back my tears sometimes. I really had to digest this story when reading.

A very nice read, but dragged on a bit too long
I found myself enjoying this story immensely - i could read it surprisingly well, and I found myself able to sympathize and feel for the main character. I enjoyed how the story progressed - some turns came earlier than expected, and the book went further, than I had initially expected it would. Towards the end though, I feel it could and should have been shorter. I found myself fighting through the final 25~30%, though I appreciate what they added to the table.
