Can We Split Up Already?
When 58 year old housewife Sumiko hears a friend's husband has passed away she thinks "Lucky." This sets in motion a series of small changes in Sumiko that leads to her thinking more and more about divorce and what it means to be happy.
This is SUCH a great read. There are no chapters but I couldn't put it down. The discussions the author presents in the book are inspiring and I hope most Japanese women pick this novel up, even if they're in a happy marriage.
