10 novels in and this is the first one to really recycle a premise. It had to happen sooner or later but I am impressed we made it this far and it's still a fun time. The plot is very similar to volume 5, both are about a big contest arranged by an out-of-towner that turns out to have an ulterior motive and volume 5 was probably my favorite of the books overall so I'm not averse to revisiting familiar territory.
