Given Bisque Doll's natively rating (25 at time of writing) I thought this would be a difficult read - and it is, but it's far from insurmountable. General knowledge of high school vocab is a plus, with most of the more unfamiliar vocab being clothing and cosplay related. By far the hardest parts to figure out is Marin (and her friends') copious use of ギャル slang; it's not bad when it's just Marin and Gojou, but when her friends all join the mix it can get pretty rough quickly.
Not that hard, but can get very specific
This manga is currently tagged as a 25 difficulty, which by the time I started reading, I though would be above my level (Passed N4, 3-4 months into studying for N3).
The more general character conversations are, overall, very understandable, as well as the things they are feeling, and the gist of what they are doing in each scene. It gets more complex when they start describing the cosplay making process, which they do in incredible detail, talking about makeup styles, wig styling, camera effe
