This is folktale about a man capable of perfoming Taoist magic. He also has kind of a Robinhood spirit, which makes reading this very enjoyable! Each chapter is 4-6 pages long, and they're mostly independant (there is a continuing storyline, but each chapter focuses on one event/encounter), which is great for language learners.
Since this is a darakwon graded reader, there's also some vocab under each page, along with some additional vocab, grammar, and culture notes as bubbles within the text.
