The book isn't that hard itself, but the examples are. There are various examples for correct usages of phrases and words, but they might be hard for a language learner because they're mostly about chemistry/physics/maths/things like that. Also there are some grammar explanations that might be useful but they are made rather for native Japanese speakers. There's a list of words you shouldn't use in reports etc so might be useful for students abroad though.
