This is a really beautiful story that follows the lives of a number of LGBT+ characters. A lot of the storytelling is visual and, while there are no furigana, much of the vocabulary is simple enough that I would gladly recommend this to a beginner.

Warning that it deals with themes of homophobia and suicidal ideation, so if these are tricky topics for you approach it with care!
