Japanese Graded Readers: Level 0 Vol 1 (Japanese Graded Readers)

This graded reader is perfect for beginners. There are varying levels with level 0 being the lowest. level 0 is best for N5 students.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this series if it wasn't for the price. One small booklet (95 pages) costs around 20-30€.

This is a nice collection of (very) short stories, generally revolving around Japanese culture. The sentences are relatively basic (closer to 'see spot run' sorts of sentences rather than natural Japanese), but if you know past tense and basic sentence construction, I'd recommend this!

My only complaint is that it's a little expensive for what you get. While I think these stories are better than the free Tadoku graded readers, I'd recommend starting there and only get these if you want some more.
