This is the best mixed level pack of graded readers available for beginners. It includes 6 books along with downloadable audio. All of the books have a narrative to follow are an even split between folk tales and slice of life stories. I highly recommend this pack, especially if you don't want to buy too many graded reader sets.
Better stories than the vol 7. This is actually the first thing I enjoyed reading in Japanese. I could get the feeling that I read a complete story, beginning development and end, and was entertained.
This has a better mix of stories than many of the boxed sets from this series in my opinion. If you aren't a fan of the nonfiction books that pop up in some of these sets, you won't have to worry about that with this one. It's all fiction and the two robot stories are especially cute! Really enjoyed this one.
