Short introductory volume to an action-packed series
The first volume of Mechanical Arms is pretty average in all regards. It's short, so you barely get to know any of the characters, and the premise is still being established. Plot-wise, nothing too special as of yet.
From a learner's perspective, note that there is essentially no furigana except for when a nuanced pronunciation is applied to kanji, but also note that there isn't actually that much text to begin with - this is an action series after all.
I'll probably get Volume 2 just to see
