It's a lot of fun
I had a lot of fun with this one. The premise is over the top, so you just roll with it. Zen and Ryo have been competing with each other since high school; now they are working together and still competing. One drunk night things escalate and they find they are now competing to see who can make the other fall in love with them first.
Look, I was blushing, I was giggling, I was yearning, what more do you want from a story like this? Plus I really liked the art style.
The story is complete at one book, so you can read it without a cliff hanger. However, another 2 part story is also available as to what happens after, and I've picked those up to read next. If you are like me you are kind of happy to have a complete story and not have to wait years with meandering storylines, so I appreciate this.
In terms of language learning, I put it at a 5 for me. It wasn't anything difficult, but I admit that I've been reading novels more lately so it took me a bit to get used to the brief sentences (what is the subject for this sentence?? haha), and there was some interesting vocab that I hadn't encountered before.
