I watched the anime for this first, then picked up the manga after the fact, wondering how faithful it was. The answer: very. So if you enjoyed one you'll enjoy the other for sure (or get bored of 96% of the same jokes being repeated, haha.)
In this manga we follow high-schooler 斉木楠雄 (さいき・くすお), a young man born with intense psychic powers who's just trying to stay under the radar and and go about his day-to-day life. This being a comedy, he inevitably gets sucked into mundane situations with some of the most ridiculous characters imaginable; 斉木 himself gives me real Garfield vibes, with his blunt and non-plussed take on everything that pops up. I wasn't expecting the jokes to make me laugh, given I'm already familiar with them from the anime, but I laughed nonetheless; the manga's art style and paneling does a lot of work, I think.
All text has furigana, which is both good and bad: there's a lot of text, and the extra furigana makes it all the more squished to read.
