The story is a simple and cute romance between two highschool (college in later volumes) girls.
For language learning, I think this is an ideal manga if you are comfortable with manga that have furigana and want to make the step towards texts without.
The plot and language is very easy to understand. There are almost no furigana, except for character names. Names are usually difficult to read in kanji and most manga will show furigana for names, but only once per volume or once per chapter for
Wholesome and Fun GL Romance
It's a fun story, albeit very cliché with its progression there's a really good amount of fun to be had in the character interactions and the development of their relationship as they find more about each other.
As for language learning, despite not having furigana and being intended for adults, the language is really simple and direct. A lot of the vocab is related to school and the protagonists' daily life. There's a number of specific vocab that you probably won't see anywhere else, but the
Simple and sweet
Though the story doesn't have furigana (apart from names and first-time 'complicated' words) I found it actually a lot easier than a lot of stories that do have furigana, largely because there's a lot of repetitive vocab, especially with every chapter starting with a quick, often-very-similar introduction of Kase-san from Yamada's perspective. Very cute and easy.
