(4/5)Definitely a series I will continue. The audiobooks are great, imo and the mysteries are of a human drama kind rather than a criminal kind, and that's right up my alley. Not sure how I feel about the puppy love but I am hoping our MC is going to get a bit older before anything happens. keeping fingers crossed
There is a bit of 京都弁 and some specialised words (that often get explained, though) and references to famous artists but overall the language is pretty accessible, imo.
Kyoto dialect, travel, light mystery, and ドキドキ
Mixed feelings about ドキドキ part. Fun but slightly tropey.
I like the travel and smartness of Holmes (?). Maybe motives and execution of the storyline can be smoother?
Looking up not only in a dictionary, but also Wikipedia and the web.
