The biggest strength and weakness of this book is that the vocabulary and grammar are extremely controlled. The first chapter uses exclusively vocabulary and grammar which I was already very comfortable with, and each subsequent chapter tells you exactly which new grammar and vocab it will introduce (most of which I was already familiar with.
It's also has a good amount of text for a graded reader, not quite as much as the page count would suggest as about a third of it is grammar explanations
