Be aware that this is an English book translated to Korean. If I had known that, I probably would not have bought it.
To compare, I also got a copy of the original English and my god it’s just chock full of idioms, slangs, and puns. It’s all of those things that make this book so hard to read for learners. This was a short, easy middle grade book about a girl named 비 whose whole life has been posted on Instagram by her mom since the day she was born. The book follows her as she attempts to lose followers and quit Instagram, only to gain more followers instead.
Since it's a middle grade book, it's quite tame in terms of acting out (e.g., hair dyeing, etc.). 비's relationships with her mother and her friends were sweet and I enjoyed seeing her character growth.
