Entertaining and easy enough

This was my first fiction audiobook that I listened to without ever looking at the text. The first few minutes were rough but then I adapted and the rest was easy enough. I only stopped two or three times to double-check the meaning of some words but in every case, my understanding from context was correct. In my opinion, this should probably be graded below level 29. My only gripe with the audiobook was that it was unclear when a jump in time or place occurred; no indications were given.

The story is fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to tell people to read this book but I wouldn't advise against reading it either. In any case, it certainly beats slice of life in terms of entertainment so this can be a good candidate if you want to read something somewhat easy and are sick and tired of SOL and romcoms.
