[DeepL Translation - needs review] Love is a prayer. I pray. I want all the people I love to be happy together. I want each wish to come true. I want them to live happily in a warm place, or a cool place, or a comfortable place, surrounded by the people they love. I hope the greatest happiness will rain down on everyone from the sky. A romance novel about "love" and "novels," winner of the 2009 University Readers' Prize (Kodansha Bunko). (Kodansha Bunko)

Good? Confusing.
This was weirdly written enough that the struggle to read it led to me feeling like I didn't understand it. Were the vignettes all fiction within the story? But they were slightly different from the stories the writer described afterwards.
Books like this remind me of the unending challenge of literacy from denotation to connotation, from understanding, words to sentences to paragraphs to chapters to books. I understood it literally, but struggled to put together the real meaning.
