FMA is a really solid adventure pick, especially for giant nerds like me who grew up with it years ago but who only hazily remember the details. The art and panelling is very clear, so any confusion that creeps in will largely be from the actual words themselves.
Language-wise it is relatively wordy for an action series and can get a little complicated, with characters that jump all over the register (the first story has a lot of religious terminology, half the cast uses a lot of scientific/mil
