(3.69/5)A low-key installment that pays off prior volumes and sets up the next
More of a 3.5 than a 3, this one is definitely better than volume 5 and the opening act of Yuna escorting a bunch of rowdy kids who don't believe in her bear powers is hilarious, after that's over the plot shifts to back to sorting out the Mirira/Crimea merger which volume 5 spent a majority of the book on, but here it works better since we're getting more direct character stuff as Anzu comes to Crimonia and starts her fish restaurant with some of the girls Yuna had saved in volume 4. The new restaurant arc is nice, but everything afterward feels more like a teaser for volume 7 and several chapters are spent establishing the problem she'll have to solve in the next book, which isn't bad but it does end on a low-key note. I liked that there were more illustrations than usual this volume, that was a nice surprise.
Read in Japanese and even though the first chapter or two felt a little tougher than usual, I found my reading stamina seemed to get better, I usually can only read 3 chapters in a day, but I managed 4, 5, and even 6 in this volume some days, so I guess my speed is improving a bit as well.

Great language learning
This book does a great job of getting you used to characters talking together, and you figuring out Japanese's lack of dialogue tags via how people speak (can be super annoying for people at first).
Personally, I like the cozy parts of these books so if it isn't cozy I'm not liking it so much. I like the "filler" books where they're just walking around talking lol. This book had a decent amount of that.
Consistently repeated words/kanji get are always amazing for language learning. There's absolutely some n1 grammar stuff sprinkled in all these books, this one had a bit more than usual.
Solid entry, but I'm getting pretty bored w/this series. Going to have to find something more engaging with like some kind of stakes lol.
