Language learning:
This remains an excellent series for language learning, as it's one of the simplest and easiest to understand mangas out there. There is an offshoot WK book club thread for this volume as well, so it's a good choice for beginners looking for more to read.

This volume was more of the same. We meet a new friend, and have cute forest adventures. Really, this series is too cutesy for my taste, but others may enjoy. There is a swimsuit chapter, but it wasn't overly fan

Very cute (although the swimming story was odd), and a step up in language complexity. Absolutely lovely art. I don't see any more volumes available so maybe this is done for now, but I hope there are more someday!
