Language learning:
This remains an excellent series for language learning, as it's one of the simplest and easiest to understand mangas out there. There is an offshoot WK book club thread for this volume as well, so it's a good choice for beginners looking for more to read.

This volume was more of the same. We meet a new friend, and have cute forest adventures. Really, this series is too cutesy for my taste, but others may enjoy. There is a swimsuit chapter, but it wasn't overly fan

Why can't I grade this item?
Just as cute as the first one!
The cast has expanded a bit, so there feels like there's a lot more back and forth dialogue overall compared to the beginning of the first volume. There's also a good handful of new vocabulary for seasonal events here, which is nice!
