Another very solid Kirby adventure. Since the last one where Metaknight was in the title was mostly a Metaknight story with Kirby as a side character, I was expecting him to be the protagonist this time too, but this is more a story around Metaknight that focuses on how the characters around him see him. Basically Metaknight thinks he's failed to protect someone and tries to start training... really hard, to the point where it starts to become a problem. It's a surprisingly thoughtful dive i

Why can't I grade this item?
Some Meta Knight lore and an easy read
This is perhaps the best in the series so far. It provided some back story for Meta Knight and some insights into his thinking. There was a lot of action in this book and Kirby did not instantly win like in some of the previous books, which made it a little more interesting. The main antagonist was a bit of a let down, though.
As far as language learning goes, it is just like the previous books. I think it is great for early readers (furigana, mostly short sentences, repeated sentence patterns
