Great how to on (digital) illustration for beginners
Great first overview on the basics of illustration. The author touches on contrast (darkness, hue, saturation), composition, color theory and light & shadow.
Since the focus is illustration, there's also tips on how to create a good workflow, what to focus on etc.
If you already know basic color theory and the like, this may not be the book for you. As a first entry, I think it's great!
