(4.28/5)私も一目惚れしちゃった
Volume 1: Reading this for the second time, and it's still my favorite yuri story :) The art is absolutely gorgeous, and the characters are wonderful!! This volume is a bit over the top in sweetness, but things get a bit more diverse in the next volume (while still remaining super adorable!)
Series: Overall is a very unique take on a mismatched(?) love, with interesting MCs and supporting characters. It's about as non-tropey as it gets (extremely refreshing). MCs work through their problems in very healthy ways, and you never know quite what to expect next, especially with the way the side characters and arcs weave into the story. It's also extremely well paced, almost never drags, and maintains a great balance between fluffiness and depth. The physical volumes are slightly larger than your average B6 manga as well, making it easier to see the whole page without bending it super far. My only criticism is sometimes the character designs are really similar to each other, so you really have to pay attention to who's who.
Language: it's a good read for someone who's read a couple of manga, and wants to try out a manga without furigana. While there are some handwritten, out of box lines, the text is otherwise really easy to read. The casual speech styles might be a a challenge if you're not used to them, but it's nothing too extreme. Overall very approachable, and you'll definitely never forget the word 一目惚れ after reading this! (笑)
Fluffy, fun, and pretty, but in my opinion lacking depth and character. Perhaps my view was colored by the ending when we learn that the main character's idea of "love at first sight" is platonic. Rooting for a relationship that one of the characters just doesn't want isn't fun for me.
I know I'm in the minority, and perhaps following the series improves the story, but viewed on its own this volume didn't hit it out of the park for me.

My #1 recommendation in regards to Manga.
I think I can not recommend this series highly enough. Astonishing beautiful art using a cute, recognizable style combined with a pure and wholesome Yuri story makes for a experience that absolutely rivals the likes of やがて君になる.
On the topic of language acquisition, it even does slightly outshine やがて君になる. Panels are easier to read, font sizes bigger (what makes reading on smaller devices significantly more convenient).
Weirdly it is kind of hard for me to write much about things I really, really enjoyed because there is hardly anything I can think of in a critical way. When I did enjoy it all, that is characters, art & the story itself, I just seem to get absorbed into the reading. Once I am done, only the pleasant feeling of having spend your time in a good way remains. Thus, my recommendation!
