I wasn't really crazy about the way stuff played out w/ Tessaiga & Tenseiga... the Shippou story in the middle is kinda fun, tho much more exciting in the anime. Also feel bad for Kagome that she never gets to meet any friendly 巫女s, and is still stuck in Kikyou's shadow, even after she's gone. She continues to be more brave and assertive though, which is really enjoyable to watch :)
