Incredible series with clumsy beginning

Update: having finished the whole series, it went so far beyond my expectations. I'd probably consider it the best, most profound manga I've read. So if you're on the fence, I suggest sticking with it (tho be aware it can be quite heavy at times)

I found the first 4 chapters just okay, but not that impressive. The MC has some sort of trauma she's grappling with/beating herself up over, and I was able to relate to her, but everything else felt like a mix of "fluffy, but this is paper thin,
