I found this short story collection to be mostly entertaining. Some stories were a miss for me. But I like her use of language and I feel like she used a lot of specific imagery that was nice to read. I especially like the knife, overlap knife story (a son tries to stop his father from murdering his mother— some voice from the darkness gives him three chances to do so) and the cocktail love zombie story (a woman’s father becomes a zombie. the mother and daughter both try to keep going on as if n
