I think this is a very good book for language learning. Many of the poems have very clear and vivid images of tangible things which makes it easy to understand the text well enough to actually be able to appreciate them as poems.
There is a literary essay about the poems at the end of the book which is a lot harder than the poems. I only considered the poems while grading the book.
