A cute magical girl throwback with some technical terms
Tokyo Mew Mew was a childhood favorite of mine so I'm happy to get back into the series again! The plot is simple, and the art style is extremely nostalgic.
The vocabulary was simple for the most part, but some lookups did happen whenever terms surrounding ecology, anthropology, and animal extinction came up. (not often, but it happens a few times per volume, especially when Aoyama, Shirogane, or Keiichiro talk).
