“Un día en…” is a collection of readers for Spanish learners at an A1 level. They are designed to be an enjoyable read, while also learning about cities of the Spanish-speaking world.
Each book contains:
- A short story
- A visual dictionary
- Cultural information about about each place (cuisine, history etc.)
- Language practice activities
- Glossary in English, French, German and Dutch
There is a link in the book to download audio recordings of the text, and answers to the activities.

Excellent reader with interesting cultural insights
This is an excellent reader for someone early in their Spanish studies. There’s enough in the story to make it interesting, while at the same time exploring the city.
It’s attractive visually with good pictures and layout. I particularly enjoyed the cultural insight sections.
The audio recordings are good quality. There’s not a translation of the main story, but there are translations of the cultural insights at the back of the book (English, French, German and Dutch).
