Blurb
One day, Gakunen, who is in training at a temple, decided to go to the mountain to pick chestnuts. There is a scary “yamamba” living in the mountain. The monk, worried about Gakunen, gives him “three bills”. A French university student adapted a Japanese folktale into a manga.

Great book with tons of grammar and vocab
It's super useful, contains a lot of great things to learn but sadly doesn't do a perfect job at showing certain things via the drawings which can feel confusing at times but the story was fun and I think it matches quite well for a level 1, with a bit more work this would easily have been a 5 star!

Favorite for Beginners and Manga lovers
I haven't read that many Tadoku books yet, but thus far this is my favorite. The story is funny and interesting. The visuals are like normal manga, which make it visually more entertaining. And the story is great for language learning as well. Totally recommend! Hope I see more like this on Tadoku!
