Very fast paced, excluding two much-needed middle chapters - one of which is an extremely cute 現代 section, which felt really refreshing, though the way Kagome's friends react after meeting Inuyasha is really not great, given the impression they have of him. Otoh I'm glad for Kagome that she can actually feel validated/respected by her friends for once. It's nice to see Kagome be a bit more mature about stuff with Kikyou as well... Though it would be great if she'd act
