Entirely defied my expectations
I assumed the author would move on quickly from the current setting, but instead he continued it in the most delightful way possible. My only complaint was that the remainder of the big battle from last book took up most of the first 20% or so. After that, it just got better and better. While last book was incredible in many ways, this one has more of a sense of fun for me.
