The personalities of the main duo and the chemistry between them makes for some really fun and light-hearted comedy. The mix of the main character's role as a demon, her contrasting sweet personality, and the endless support that everyone else gives her as she tries to be a better demon provides a source for many of the manga's more heartwarming and comedic moments.
As for the actually reading experience/difficulty, some comments:
You will go through this manga a lot slower than most others. Not necessarily due to difficulty, but it just has so much more text than most manga. With the 4-koma formatting and the fact that many panels are more text than image you get pages with nearly as much text as an LN page. (I measured it with OCR at an average of ~240 characters/page)
The official scan for volume 1 is garbage. Combined with how much text there is it is seriously painful to read sometimes.
