It's a quick and easy read and that's where the positive things end. 🤣 This is supposed to be a historical romance but there is no historical language or anything. If I didn't know, I wouldn't have known it's historical. Also, the romance falls pretty flat. There is no inclination how they fall in love or why they fall in love... but suddenly feelings.
