[DeepL Translation - needs review] Volume 1 Introduction: Mia Miyake always plays the honor student card, both at school and at home. She is so busy with her studies and housework that she has no friends with whom she can talk frankly, let alone romantically. Recently, she has become interested in Dr. Morikubo, the school nurse, who is rumored to be a "delinquent" in the school... A high school girl who wears a cat's head and a delinquent school infirmary doctor, a pure girls' love story!

(3/5)Starts off really unrealistically (which seems par for the course for this genre), and gradually improves. While the teacher (and the fact that they're still employed, and nobody is raising eyebrows) is totally unbelievable, it's the perspective of the student that makes the series interesting.
Anyway if you already like the genre, you'll probably enjoy it. If you're on the fence, it's on the tamer side for this sort of thing, and the student's crush is portrayed semi-realistically (or at least better than most other iterations I've come across). Volume 2 improves a bit from volume 1.

It's cute, I really like the art style too. I definitely agree with the review that says that this is on the tamer end of the genre, and honestly I'm glad because this was my first time reading something like this. It's a tad bit cheesy, but I personally enjoy that. As for language learning, I'm a bit annoyed at the furigana. It puts it on words like 上手 (both taught in grade 1 if jisho isn't lying to me), but not on words with kanji from upper grades, it just feels a bit off at times. It has some more casual vocabulary but nothing much. If you're past basic level, this should be a very fast read, with not a lot of niche vocabulary (if anything at all), plus very simple grammar.
