There are quite a few pages packed with speech bubbles. The text is also smaller than average. I can’t objectively say whether it was hard or just annoying. I loved the story regardless.
Since one of the characters is a yankee, he does use a lot of slang. More than the other characters who are just talking like teenagers. There are no other noteworthy points of difficulty.
