Quick note on the tags I’ve added to this. They mostly pertain to the character’s backgrounds rather than things occurring in the current timeline of the story. But since those events are frequently referenced and heavily influence the actions of the characters, it felt worth noting.
Although it deals with heavy themes, I would not say it’s a depressing read. The artist does a great job of balancing the mood. There is a lot of light and funny dialogue spoken by characters that are clearly not
